True story: this evening, I drove about a half-mile in order to hand-deliver a printed copy of a one-paragraph email, so that someone could take that page and mail it—in an envelope, with a stamp—a couple thousand miles.

I can relate…printer hasn’t been working, which has led to similar scenarios.
There is something to be said for human contact, I must say, and receiving a handwritten letter in the ol’ creaky mailbox, preferably with little pictures or notes drawn on the outside. *smiles*

Oh, aye—and it wasn’t wasted time on my part either, as it meant we got to visit for awhile face-to-face (you know, the ultimate high-bandwidth interaction mode).
